I had a chance to read “Closing the Gap”, by someone I've always considered a mentor, Mitch Kapor. As a former entrepreneur, I've always been passionate about bridging the equity gap in our society. That's why I was immediately drawn to Mitch’s book, Closing The Equity Gap. In it, he discusses the importance of ensuring that everyone has equal access to economic opportunities.

One of the key lessons I learned from this book is that we must actively work to dismantle systemic barriers that prevent certain groups from achieving success. This means creating more inclusive workplaces, investing in underrepresented communities, and advocating for policies that promote equality.

Kapor's book also highlights the critical role that technology can play in advancing equity. By leveraging innovative solutions and tools, we can empower individuals and communities to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.

Overall, Closing The Equity Gap is a must-read for anyone who wants to create positive change in our world. It reminds us that we all have a responsibility to work towards a more just and equitable society, one where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
